The boys are back in town!
I'm home! Whew! The flight was nice and quick, but I have a cold right now so it sucked. I read two issues of the New Yorker and a special tribute issue to Conrad Hall by American Cinematographer.
Last night was spent watching David Lynch's short films (Good) a Japanese film called Versus (Really violent but boring... didn't even finish it) and No Retreat No Surrender (Good) again. That movie rocks so much ass. A couple days ago I watched the sequel to it... it does not rock ass.
The rest of the night was spent talking to Lee and preventing her from falling asleep. I stayed up the whole night so that I could sleep well on the plane. Of course the plan was all foiled when I fell asleep a little after noon after saying my goodbye to Leonard :( anyway, yeah, I have a cold so I was tired and I conked out in my room. I woke up later and got ready to leave got some help from some friends and made my way out and said my goodbyes. The taxi trip to the airport took an hour. Ugh! I made it back safely incase you didn't gather that already.
It's so weird being back home, especially the thought that I won't be going back to NY for 3 1/2 months... *sigh* Oh well! It's nice to be home! If only this damn cold would go away, then i can start enjoying myself.
All my goods made it back home safe... so far... my camera is in the box that should be arriving this week via UPS... my camcorder, light meter, and laptop all made it here in one piece. *crosses fingers*
Stuffy nose... I need kleenex. I'm out. Peace.
