I'm here at the PC
I'm here at the PC place inside the mall where the theater I'm watching the film festival movies today is located. I'm in between movies right now so I'm going to write about the first three I saw today.
1. Deathwatch - Okay World War I horror flick. Something scary is hunting down the british in the trenches and it ain't the Germans! AGH! Billy Elliot is in it and it has a couple good moments in it, but it's mostly cliche after cliche.
2. Save the Green Planet - Korean sci-fi/comedy/action/suspense masterpiece with heavy doses of social commentary mixed in. This film had the deaf guy from Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance in another great roll along with some other great actors. Really really sad film, but one of the best Korean films I've ever seen along with Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Oasis. This one will definitely shown by moi next year at NYU!
3. Reversal of Fortune - Korean romantic golf comedy, um... I hate to say it but I kinda enjoyed it... not a good film by any means, but entertaining...
One more to go today and three more tomorrow. I'm really hungry but I think I'll make it.
I'll be back in the U.S. on Tuesday!
