Got lots of sleep and watched Errol Morris' Fast, Cheap and Out of Control. Morris' filmmaking style is brilliant. The subjects were engaging and the way he seamlessly edited all four people together and incorporated stock footage was great. Very few other filmmakers have ever excited me as much as he did through their sheer style alone. Wong Kar Wai and Terrence Malick are the others that immediately come to mind...
In other less exciting news, my mom was telling me that in the town where Memories of Murder takes place, that a body was recently found killed in the same manner as the infamous ones over a decade ago. Eeek! Whether it's the same guy or a copycat killer, it's freaky...
