The past week has been spent looking at lots of apartments and applying to lots of jobs.
The apartment search hasn't been too succesful but there's still time.
I just got an interview with Fine Gold Productions for a position as direct assitant to the president.
"Duties will be both admin and creative. It all depends on your experiences. This job can turn into a full time job if desired. Specific duties include review of music, preparing cd's on I-tunes, music research, film/TV research, matching music to films to be released.. We just need someone with the tools we will train. Job location is near NYU. This can start for May 1 or be for a summer internship."
The interview is Monday morning, hopefully it works out. I'm a bit nervous though because I'm also applying to a job in the archives at the Museum of the Moving Image and I really really really want that one but the application for that one isn't due until April 18th and you're notified early May. Whatever, that's something I can worry about if the interview Monday goes well.
The application process for Fine Gold Productions was pretty whack. They had me send in a resume and cover letter which is normal but they also wanted a mix CD and SIX references. That was pretty annoying.
I suddenly don't feel like writing anymore. So goodnight.
