Last day...
It's my last day here at Pfizer. Possibly forever. My boss informed me that his boss gave him a "hell no" when asked about rehiring me this year. Oh well. If they hire an intern for 2006 I will most likely be back.
My interview with American Express is tomorrow and hopefully that works out. As much as I enjoy sitting around and playing games and watching movies, it doesn't pay the rent :(
The past weekend was spent in Rye. I often miss the suburbs when I've been in the city for too long so it's always nice to go up there. Grass is always interesting to walk on when you haven't for months and at night it gets so quiet (at least relative to the city) that it makes my ears feel weird. Eating pretty much nothing but coffee cake and cookies all weekend doesn't hurt either...
I watched Serpico which was good. Al Pacino got hella pissed and broke a chair while yelling "He's a cop killer!" That part was great and the rest of the film was generally enjoyable. Frank Serpico was an all right guy and one of the lawyers Lee is working with was involved in that case. Interesting, no?
Last night I watched Jersey Girl and was surprised by how not awful it was. It was really cheesy and pretty dumb but I actually found it entertaining and watched the whole thing. If you feel compelled to watch it, I recommend you watch it the way I did: come into the movie 15 minutes late so that Jennifer Lopez is already dead.
