Well, I've just made about $30 off of Pfizer sitting here and accomplishing nothing. As much as I honestly enjoy this job and as much as I think "Office Space" is a horribly overrated movie (minus the printer smashing scene), I'm starting to realize that the movie had some things going for it.

Maybe it's because of the guy in the neighboring cubicle who looks at girls on myspace all day inbetween reading tips on bodybuilding websites while downing protein shakes from his nalgene (This is when he's not calling his dad, who's a bigwig in the company, and complaining about having nothing to do).

I haven't been much better though. I spend half my day here at work looking at computer parts on zipzoomfly and then reading about them on cnet.

To my credit, I also spend a lot of my time reading the news and I just have to say that John Bolton gives me a sick feeling in my stomach whenever I see him. He looks like the evil twin of my highschool history teacher and to think that he could be working in the UN right down the street from me...

In other news:

Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle was very disappointing. It had its moments. The animation on the castle while it moves around was great and Miyazaki has an imagination that's just incredible. BUT, the movie... to put it lightly... sucked balls. Okay, maybe that's a bit too much... but it wasn't very good. Princess Mononoke is still brilliant though.

The Incredibles on the other hand was hilarious and I loved it. I think the Toy Story movies are still better but this was probably better than Finding Nemo and definitely way better than Monsters Inc.

Time to actually accomplish something. I hope.

Something I just learned from a man on the elevator responding to a woman raving about the popcorn in the Pfizer cafeteria: "Snack foods, you can't stop with just one." Genius.

Okay... you had to be there. The guy said it as if he were the first to ever realize this and he thought he was so cool. He even inserted a dramatic pause after "Snack foods," I mean c'mon.
