The following is really really gross...

Continue reading at your own discretion...

My friend Alex was in town the last few days and on Tuesday we decided to take an eating tour of NYC. The following is the list of what we ate (in order).

donuts from Dunkin Donuts
Ice Cream from the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory
Gelato from La Laboratoria del Gelato
Dumplings from Fried Dumpling
Pizza from Ray's Pizza
WAY too much ice cream at Serendipity (if you've ever been there you know what I'm talking about)
Gyro

The next day consisted of laying in bed allllllllll day and throwing up about 4 to 6 times. Meanwhile, Alex somehow managed to eat an entire pizza at Grimaldi's followed by ice cream at the Brooklyn Ice Cream factory. It was an awe inspiring two days of eating on his part. I myself was left humbled and dehydrated.

For Project Runway Fans Who Know HTML

"I have to say, it was OK, but <Michael Kors>I'm underwhelmed</Michael Kors>."

A fan's reaction to the Sopranos season premiere on Television Without Pity.

HILARIOUS, but I must say, I disagree.

Woke Up This Morning

I got up pretty early this morning to mark the first day of spring break. It was over sixty degrees outside but if there were birds chirping I couldn't hear because of the garbage trucks that have been empting the building across from me. They've been working all day all night for the last couple days and it's become pretty annoying.

The rest of my day was spent watching some movies and working on Lucid Screening.

The movies I watched were A Life Aquatic (lame) and The Trial of Joan of Arc (great).

That's all for that.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the end, tomorrow night is the season premiere of the final season of the Sopranos. Well actually the final 1.5 seasons of the Sopranos. It's weird but it's a good thing, extra episodes. Anyway, the Sopranos is the best thing ever put on television and I for one am insanely excited. I'm going to cook some pasta tomorrow before sitting down and watching what I've heard is a great episode.

Edit: For the first time in a very very long time I went for a run. Now keep in mind, I use the term very very loosely but I'm pretty sure it would count as a run. Why would I do something like that you ask? Well, the weather was nice and I had never run across the Brooklyn Bridge at night before. Or even in the day for that matter...

Spring Break wooooooooo *lifts up shirt*

It's my first day of spring break and I'm enjoying it at work just as I'll be doing all next week as well.

Why would I spend my entire break working you ask? THIS is why. Also, Alex is coming to visit the week after spring break so I took some days off then.

Lucid Screening

New website announcement!

After being in development for a couple weeks, the site isn't completely done but it's done enough to launch.

www.lucidscreening.com

I will be writing on the site along with two of my friends from high school. It should be fun and interesting reading and that means the readers of this blog will be spared movie reviews from now on.

DGA

"I took the DGA exam on February 11th and am pretty sure I did well enough to get to the next stage. I'm not just being arrogant, it was just that easy."

That's from a couple weeks ago.

Well, apparently it wasn't THAT easy. I got a letter today saying that I didn't make it to the next stage of the selection process. I'm sincerely confused and can only assume that I failed the personality quiz part of the exam because I know for a fact that I did well on the rest of the exam.

While I've gotten just about every job I've ever applied and interviewed for, whenever I've taken those dumb personality tests I don't even get called back for an interview (Circuit City, Best Buy, DGA training Program). Hmmm... is my personality really that bad?

Oh well.
