Today, while in the bathroom at work, I noticed an eyelash had fallen out and landed on my face. I decided to disregard it and left it there. When I got home from work, I found that it was still there. Amazed, I decided to see how long it would stay. Needless to say, the temptation to remove it then became unbearably powerful but I managed to take my mind off it.

The eyelash survived until 12:51am.

I estimate that it had been sitting on my face for at least twelve hours today.
